The Eufaula Indian Community will host its annual Whole Hawg Day event on Saturday, July 26.
It will kick off with an Arts & Crafts Show beginning at 10 a.m.
The public can see and purchase authentic handmade items including beadwork, artwork, ribbon skirts, jewelry, Big Foot dolls and t-shirts, leather goods and more.
Vendors have donated items to the silent auction, which will go until 2 p.m., when winners will be announced.
Bidders are urged to be in attendance.
The Indian Taco sale will be held at the Edna Belcher Nutrition Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until the tacos run out. Dine in or carry out.
Proceeds from the food sale will go toward helping pay the cost for attending the annual Native Falls Assembly, a gathering of Native American Christians held at the Falls Creek Baptist Conference Center in Ada.
A new favorite elders game is chair volleyball. This game requires players, age 55 and older, to compete to 15 points per game. Participants can’t get out of their chairs unless for rotation.
This will be an allwomen’s tournament.
Teams will compete for team trophies. The first place trophy will be donated by the EIC Smoke Shop on Forest Avenue.
