The Checotah Chamber of Commerce has chosen Heritage Waste Management, LLC as its latest Business of the Month.

Established in 2019, Heritage Waste Management has been a locally owned and operated family business in the McIntosh area for six years. In 2020 the company was blessed with the opportunity to partner with Haskell County in running its transfer station. Then in 2023 they were able to partner with the City of Checotah to operate the Checotah city dump. In 2024, Heritage Waste opened a local office in Checotah at 300B S. Broadway and became members of the Checotah Chamber of Commerce. Owners, Justin and Katee Baker stated “The Lord has greatly blessed us with the opportunity to serve our local communities and we are proud to do so.
