Eufaula offensive lineman Carson Luna represented the Eufaula Ironheads and the East team in the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State football game at Oklahoma Baptist University on Thursday.
“Representing Eufaula in the All-State game is a huge honor. I’m looking forward to bringing that same pride and work ethic to college, ready to tackle new challenges and make the most of the opportunity,” Carson Luna said.
It was a packed crowd at the event.
The West team led 6-2 at the end of the first quarter and went on to win the game 30-18.
Luna (6’3”, 255 pounds) signed with East Central University and will play for the Tigers this fall.
“I’m really proud of Carson. He did a great job tonight against some of Oklahoma’s best high school athletes. He represented the Ironheads with class and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors,” Eufaula head football coach Larry Newton said.
Luna is the son of Josh and Meagan Luna and the grandson of Leonard and Kay Luna of Eufaula.
