As you’ve already noticed, after thinking that there must have been some printing error with this edition of the Eufaula Indian Journal, this is a left-handed paper and was printed opposite of what you’re used to.
As you’ll read in the left-handed articles throughout this week’s newspaper, southpaws are confronted with many obstacles, especially related to equipment.
A newspaper printing press is also not geared to accommodate lefties. In order to print this week’s issue, the pages, after being built on the computer, had to be flipped upside down before being transmitted to the printing plant. The newspaper was then printed as usual, although as it came off the press, it appeared upside down and backwards.
If you want to share a paper with your left-handed friends, extra copies are available at the Eufaula Indian Journal located at 100 S. 2nd Street. (We are located on the left side of the building.)
