WILBURTON – Eastern Oklahoma State College Director of Marketing and Communications Jacob Sitton and Administrative Assistant and Cheer Coach Emma Beck were recently named NextGen Under 30 award winners.
“I am truly honored to be selected as a NextGen Under 30 winner,” Sitton said. “This recognition is a reflection of the incredible students, colleagues, and mentors I get to work with every day at Eastern Oklahoma State College. I am grateful for the opportunity to help tell Eastern’s story and to continue making a positive impact in our community and state.”
Beck and Sitton were selected as two of 442 winners across 21 categories from across Oklahoma.
“I’m so excited to be recognized as a Next-Gen Under 30 honoree,” Beck said. “This award is such an encouragement as I continue to grow both personally and professionally at Eastern Oklahoma State College. I’m thankful for the support of my team and the chance to contribute to Eastern’s mission and to our community.”
NextGen Under 30 recognizes and encourages the next generation of innovative, creative, and inspiring individuals who push the boundaries in various categories of endeavor, according to the organization’s website. In addition, award winners are selected based upon their participation in and contribution to their communities. A panel of respected business and civic leaders serve as judges.
Beck and Sitton will be honored at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Sept. 8 and again at the Next-Gen Award Ceremony on Nov. 14.
