The Class of Checotah competed at the Haskell Invitational this past Saturday, September 20. The high school band and color guard came home with the following bragging rights and trophies: Outstanding Drum Major Outstanding Color Guard 2nd Place in Class Fan Favorite Participating bands were as follows: White Class: 1st – Fairview; 2nd- Chouteau; 3rd-Luther Blue Class: 1st –Hilldale; 2nd –Checotah; 3rd – Spiro; 4th- Stilwell Silver Class: 1st –Tonkawa; 2nd –Panama; 3rd – Tulsa Memorial Royal Class: 1st -Warner; 2nd – Adair; 3rd – Dewey; 4th – Kellyville Haymaker Class: 1st –Charles Page The next contest will be the Ironhead Invitational on Saturday, September 27 in Eufaula.
