McIntosh County Democrat invites the community to say “Boo to Domestic Violence” next Thursday, Oct. 23 from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Unique Touch, 505 N. Broadway in Checotah. Several superheroes, some with capes and some without, will share their stories, statistics and warning of DV. We will also honor those lost to DV. There will be light refreshments and live music, so don’t miss this opportunity to stand up against domestic violence as survivors bring awareness of the struggles in McIntosh County and surrounding areas.
