The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) at Checotah Public Schools has 75 members this year and is one of the biggest and most energetic groups yet.
Students from 8th-12th grade are ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in their community by showing just how much they can achieve together.
So, what exactly is FCCLA?
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a student-led organization that helps young people develop leadership skills, prepare for careers, and give back to their communities. Members take part in service projects, competitions, and activities that build confidence, teamwork, and realworld skills. Whether it’s leading service events, planning projects, or competing in STAR events, FCCLA members learn how to turn their passions into action to truly make a difference in the communities they serve.
