Lake Eufaula Fishing Report

Fishing at Eufaula Lake in Oklahoma is currently fair to good, with largemouth bass biting on crankbaits and plastic baits near brush, points, and shorelines. Catfish are good, particularly blue catfish near the dam, docks, and main lake channel, using cut bait or shad. Crappie are also a popular target, especially in the Gaines Creek area for larger fish.

Fishing report by species Largemouth Bass: Fair to good. Try using crankbaits and plastic baits around brush piles, points, and shorelines.

Catfish: Good. Anglers are reporting success with blue catfish using cut bait and shad, particularly below the dam, near docks, and in the main lake river channel.

Crappie: Eufaula is known as a prime crappie lake. For bigger fish, try heading south to the Gaines Creek area.

White Bass: Abundant and a popular target. Fish in the 1 to 1.5-pound range are common.
