The Heartland Heritage Museum & Gallery became a real show stopper during the Checotah Art Guild’s 5th Annual Holiday Art Show on Saturday, Nov. 15.

For several hours artists and locals took in all the incredible entries submitted by local artists. Each year the seasonal event showcases local talents and features an array of artistry with paintings, photography and wooden sculptures.

“We were thrilled with all the local entries,” CAG President Cheryl Ann Smith said. “We always want to showcase our local talent who show up and definitely show out. What an amazing group of artists! All the entries were wonderful!”

The Holiday Art Show first place winners all won $100 while second and third place won ribbons.

The Best of Show won $300 and was a beautiful stone sculptured by Michael Alan. Checotah Art Guild on Broadway winners of the 5th Annual Checotah Art Guild are as follows:
