Recently the Checotah High School Drama Club produced their first short film “Gone” which was enjoyed by friends and family in the local community theatre.
When asked why they wrote the film Chloe Andrews gave the most reasonable remark “Because it was an assignment.”
The idea for the short clip started out as a love story but then became a thriller of students going missing at an AirBNB by the lake.
“Truly these bright young stars had a great time filming and acting in their own film,” stated one proud parent.
The exciting world premiere happened at The Gentry on Saturday, November 15. Many locals came out to see the short film written, acted, filmed, and produced by the CHS students.
After the screening of the film, audience members got to ask questions from the cast and crew. The last showing was held on Sunday afternoon.
