Poteau Pirates make Lady Wildcats walk the plank in 53-33 win

The Poteau Lady Pirates earned a home game win over the Checotah Lady Wildcats 53-33 on Tuesday. Poteau outscored Checotah 15-4 in the first period with great ball movement and rebounding. Carly Dismukes gave Checotah (3-9) a spark in the second period with a lone three-point bucket while Shyanne Madewell, Kalleigh York and Daisy Prince added scores to close the gap 27-12 at the halftime break.
