Make plans to attend the Checotah Chamber Banquet on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Family Life Center, located at 713 N. Broadway. This year Tyler Mountain BBQ will be catering the event. Purchase tickets now for $25 or $30 at the door.

The theme this year is Americano celebrating the 250th anniversary of America. Enjoy a little friendly business competition during the Tablescape Competition for only $25 or check out the Silent auction items and see if you can outbid your coworkers and friends.

Nominations have been turned in and committees have chosen outstanding members of the community who will be named:

• The Citizen of the Year

• Silent Hero

• Small Business of the Year

• Booster of the Year So don’t miss this time to wave your flag of patriotism, enjoy some great BBQ and celebrate all the local businesses with your local Chamber of Commerce.
