Oklahoma State head football coach Eric Morris brought the majority of his coaching staff with him from North Texas, and with the new staff came a new set of contracts.
The contracts were approved at the most recent Oklahoma State Board of Regents meeting on Jan. 30. Morris signed a five-year contract worth $3.8 million annually, which was approved in December.
Both coordinators and all 10 assistant coaches have performance-based bonuses built into their contracts. Incentives include $10,000 if Oklahoma State wins the Big 12 Championship, $5,000 for a Top-10 finish, $3,000 for finishing ranked No. 11-15, and $2,000 for a final ranking between No. 16-25. Additional incentives are available if the Cowboys reach the College Football Playoff.
Defensive coordinator Skyler Cassity and associate head coach/special teams coordinator/ tight ends coach Drew Svoboda each signed three-year contracts running through Jan. 31, 2029. The remaining 10 coaches are on two-year contracts that extend through Jan. 31, 2028.
The combined salaries for the football program’s front office personnel total $730,000. General manager Raj Murti will earn $280,000 annually, executive director of player personnel Ethan Russo will make $150,000 per year, and chief of staff Rolando Surita III is set to earn $300,000 this year.
