Checotah Livestock Market announced they will be helping aid recent tornado victims in Beggs.

“Our community has always stepped up when neighbors are hurting,” a Checotah Livestock spokeman said. “In the wake of the recent tornado that has impacted families in and around Beggs, we want to do our part to help. So we will be selling a Rollover Steer with 100% of the proceeds going directly to those affected by the tornado.

Many families have lost homes, barns, livestock, and so much more. This is a small way we can come together as an agricultural community and help carry the burden.

“If you are attending the sale on Friday, we encourage everyone to get involved. We will also be accepting donations in the office. Every bid, every dollar, and every act of generosity will make a difference for those working to rebuild.
