CHECOTAH - David “D.A.” August Campbell, Jr., 84, entered eternal life peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, March 9, 2026, in Haskell, OK, after bravely battling COVID-19, pneumonia and lung cancer. A Celebration of David’s Life was held on Friday, March 13 at Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Checotah.
