Carnival and Cruise Night coming to Checotah

A carnival is coming to Checotah the first weekend in May. Anyone interested in being a food or arts and craft vendor can get a vendor application from city hall.

A whole weekend full of fun is scheduled, starting with burnouts at 7 p.m. at the car wash on North Broadway on Friday, May 1. Then Cruise Night will be from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Gentry.

On Saturday, May 2 get ready to watch Street Racing! Bring your lawn chair and head out to the Checotah Sports Complex to watch a day full of drag racing on North Broadway Street.

A Car Show will also be going on all day on Saturday in the parking lot north of the Checotah First Free Will Baptist Church at 713 N Broadway.
