First hand sport executive helps color analyst
The growth of high school sports has risen so fast and become big business that the true sports analysts have been weeded out by non-athletes/ armchair quarterbacks. The high school level should follow what the NCAA or NFL has done: use former athletes as color analysts or at least pair them with a well-spoken announcer. Fans are frustrated listening to play-by-play that describes penalties that are not in the rulebook, or offensive and defensive sets, moreover give the score of the game.
