The City of Checotah knew how to throw a huge Fourth of July celebration in honor of America?s independence. Red, white and Checotah blue were some of the firework colors seen July 3 at the City of Checotah?s Freedom Celebration held at the Checotah Sports Complex. Unfortunately, there was one small accident of the night that ended up sending Chamber of Commerce President David Prince Jr. to the hospital for stitches.
