Burned biker still recovering
By LADONNA RHODES STAFF WRITER,

A beloved biker, James”Dauber” Eaton is still recovering after a horrific fire left a larger portion of his body burnt. Though Eaton has had receive multiple skin grafts he still has a long road to recovery.

For some Eaton needs no introduction. Best known as “Dauber” to his friends, he is a son, a father, a friend and a strong advocate for children. He is also the Sgt. of Arms for The Liberty Riders RC.

Many probably know or recognize him from around town. He is the one that gave out fireworks to all the children one year. He’s the one that’s at Atwood’s every year for the hot dog sale to raise money for the children. He’s the one that is always dressed to the nines under the stoplight on Halloween to hand out candy to the children during their Downtown Halloween event. He’s the one that’s always racing around WalMart every year to shop for his angels and then hosting the gift wrapping party at his house to provide Christmas presents to all the children in need. Eaton is always the first one to lend a helping hand. Now he is the one needing a helping hand. On March 13, Eaton was involved in a fire where a large portion of his body was terribly burned and he has been in Tulsa recovering. After multiple skin grafts, he is healing but not healed. He has a long road to recovery but friends and family are working together to help ease some financial burdens on him. So they have set up an account at Peoples National Bank under James Eaton to help cover medical expenses.

He will be the hospital for a while and will be unable to work as he transitions into his new normalcy once out of the hospital. Every penny received will go directly to him and his needs. His family knows times are hard so even if some can’t financially donate please sharing his story and send up a prayer for him. His Cash App is $DeovinD and every dollar is appreciated.
