It was reported in the July 1 issue of the newspaper that Checotah resident Jessica Shea Woods, 31, pled guilty to embezzling money from Sonic Drive-in. The restaurant was not in Checotah, but in Eufaula where she had been employed. The editor apologizes for the misunderstanding.
