At the Council Meeting on Monday, July 12, the Checotah City Council, after some debate, unanimously approved the purchase of a new ambulance in the amount of $172,850. Some members were still in shock at the price for the much needed emergency vehicle, which unfortunately shows the cost of inflation across the country.
