School Board approves returning teacher stipend

Checotah Board of Education met for their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 9. The board passed a measure to approve a one-time retention stipend for all returning employees of $1,200 for full time and $600 for part time employees. The stipend was paid on Wed. Aug. 10.
