A local bar in Checotah, Monroe?s Club, remembers 13 service members who lost their lives during an attack in Kabul?s airport on Thursday, August 26. Thirteen bottles surround an empty table because, unfortunately, these brave men and women won?t be back to sit at their dining tables. As their families mourn their loss, a nation grieves with them and tips their glass to the chivalry not lost on that day but the high price paid in the name of freedom.
