Muskogee – Kimberly Ann Sherrill, 44, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Saint Francis Medical Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

PORUM – Luke Rattler-Bentley, 69, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023 in Muskogee, OK. Funeral services were under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.

PORUM – Dearl “Red” Lynn, 79, passed on Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Visitation was Friday, August 11, 2023 at Add’Vantage Funeral and Cremation.

MUSKOGEE – Helen Faye Daniel, 84, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. A memorial service was held Friday, August 11 at Stidham Baptist Church.

EUFAULA – Irma Lee McCalvey, 100, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023. A family conducted memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, at 11 a.m. at the Bridgeport Dunes Community Clubhouse.

EUFAULA – Zelda Mae Chandler, 89, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Porta Caeli hospice home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Zelda’s birthday, September 23, 2023, at the Eufaula First Baptist Church.

CHECOTAH – Bobby Joe “Bob” Herron, 71, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. A memorial service was held August 10 at Hunn Funeral Home in Checotah.

CHECOTAH – Shelly Regina Hughes, 61, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, August 7, 2023. Memorial services were held Tuesday, August 15 at Oktaha Gospel Church.

MORRIS – Rodney Alan King, 55, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. A funeral service was held Friday, August 11 at the First United Methodist Church of Morris.

EUFAULA – James Lee Palmer, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his home. No services announced.

CHECOTAH – Sherron Lee (Carder) Story-Vreugdenhil,

77, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at St. Francis Health System in Muskogee, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Sherron’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26 at the Checotah United Methodist Church.

WHITEFIELD – Michael Harley Beal, 64, died Friday, August 11, 2023 in Tulsa. Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Whitefield Cemetery.

PORUM – Jerry Ray Cotner, 74, went to be with Jesus and moved on from this life Friday, August 11, 2023 to join his beautiful wife at the Pearly Gates. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 16 at Heavenly Hope Church in Porum, Oklahoma.

EUFAULA – Thomas Leon Slavens, 74, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at his home in Eufaula, OK. A memorial was held at Mass Of Christian Burial on August 18 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.

EUFAULA – William Leroy Boyles, 86, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, in Eufaula, OK.

CHECOTAH – Luven “Ven” (Hope) Adams, 91, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Checotah, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held Friday, August 18 at Hunn Funeral Home Chapel in Checotah.

EUFAULA – Bela Denes Csendes, 79, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 24 at 10AM at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula.

EUFAULA – Daniel William Hudson, 85, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in Eufaula, OK. A memorial will be held at Mass Of Christian Burial on Friday, August 25, at 10AM at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church in Eufaula.
