Annual Last Bass Tournament Sunday, Nov. 12

More than 400 anglers have signed up for Sunday’s annual Last Bass Tournament event on Lake Eufaula, sponsored by the Lawter & Associates law firm in Oklahoma City.

Based on 377 boats in the competition, the total payout for the event is $60,550.

The payouts include: – first place, $9,355. – second place, $5,106.

– third place, $2,551. – 4th through 35th, $1,000.

– Big Bass, $7, 540. – six $250 door prizes. – two $750 mystery place winners.

– $1,000 worst fisherman team.

Lawter & Associates will be giving away a gift to the first 400 boats preregistered.

Checks and 1099’s will be issued to winners of $600 or more and Cashier’s Checks for 4th-35th places 1st, 2nd 3rd and Big Bass teams must be present on Sunday to claim their checks.

This is a team tournament (2 people) and you must have the same partner all day.

Boat numbers will be given out on Saturday evening, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. under the pavilion.

Permitted Fishing Locations

Teams may fish anywhere on tournament water accessible by boat from Eufaula Cove, except areas designated as “off limits.” Eufaula Cove is OFF LIMITS! You cannot fish within 50 yards of another contestant with their anchor down and trolling motor out of the water.

Automatic Disqualification

One (1) pound per minute deducted for late arrival to weigh in, up to 15 minutes. Being 15 minutes or more late results in automatic disqualification. Any participant caught trolling during tournament hours will be disqualified. Any participant who is drunk and disorderly or is involved in a fight during tournament hours will be disqualified. An exception will be made if the participant involved is only trying to stop or break up a fight. Lawter & Associates, PLLC has the right to refuse any entry form for any reason.

Safety – Safe motoring conduct must be observed at all times, including caution and safety on all morning take-offs. Each person must wear a Coast Guard-approved life preserver when the boat is on plane. Each boat will be required to have a working “kill switch” which must be attached to driver at all times when boat is on plane.

Polygraph – If any person fails the polygraph test in this tournament they will automatically be disqualified. If any person refuses the polygraph test team will automatically be disqualified. If any person is too intoxicated to take polygraph, or the polygraph service believes that the team who is selected to take polygraph is too intoxicated, that team will forfeit their team’s prize money.

Protest must be made in writing within 15 minutes of the last person to weigh-in.

1st, 2nd, 3rd and Big Bass must be present on Sunday to claim their checks.
