“It’s hard to believe that we are already at the midpoint of the golf season. It only seems like yesterday that longtime Coach Bill Bumganer made the offer to volunteer and allow the golfers to start early. He, along with volunteer swing coach Richard Belcher, have really allowed the teams to begin the season in stride. In previous years, golf really didn’t get to start until after January. Seniors Trent Montgomery, Andrew Robinson, Gavin Watkins, Gracie Lasiter, and Rhyatt Dunn have set the tone and have a clear view of what both teams want to accomplish this year.

The girls have started the season with three tournament wins. They have had multiple individual top 10 finishes. The girls have a goal of making the state tournament and being in the top six on the second day.

The boys have started strong in two very tough tournaments. They placed 3rd at the Muldrow tournament behind two larger class schools. They placed 4th in a very tough Henryetta Tournament. They have taken home hardware at each tournament with multiple top 10 finishes. As a whole, they have put in an incredible amount of work all offseason with a sole focus of making the state tournament and playing close to home at the Muskogee Country Club,” Eufaula head coach Jerad Efurd said.
