Death Notices

Eufaula – Jason Edward Snyder, 44, passed away on July 9, 2024. A memorial service was held Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Carlton Landing Community Church in Carlton Landing, OK.

Eufaula – Douglas Allen Davis, 62, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester, OK. Services will be set for a future date to be determined.

Quinton – Lois Louise Eakle, 80, passed away Sunday July 14, 2024, at her home in Quinton, OK, surrounded by family. A family conducted memorial was held Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church.

Eufaula – Ruth Elaine Henley, 78, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Lakeview Nursing & Rehab Center. Services will be set for a future date to be determined.

Eufaula – Elliott Dean Fields, 77, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester, OK. A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Kelley Memorial Chapel.

Stuart – Lancey Lavoy Dozier, 63, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at his home in of Stuart, OK. A graveside service was held Friday, July 26, 2024 at Bower Cemetery in Eufaula, OK.

Chelsea – Rick Lynn Beeler, 51, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Keota Assembly of God in Keota, OK.

Checotah – Janet Darlene Butler, 64, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at her home in Checotah, OK. A family conducted memorial service was held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Eufaula Church of God.

Muskogee – Laura Ruth Davis, 98, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. A memorial service was held Friday, July 26, 2024 at Kelley Memorial Chapel.

Eufaula – Margaret Louise Dowling, 84, peacefully passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee surrounded by her family. A funeral service was held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Eufaula Church of Christ.

Motley, MN – Junita Bowers Pierce, 87, formerly of Eufaula, OK, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024. A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 30, at the Free Methodist Church in Motley.

Broken Arrow – Jimmie Lee Lane, 88, former resident of Checotah, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Broken Arrow, OK. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2024, at Checotah Church of Christ.
