EUFAULA – Charles Edward Harris, long time Eufaula resident, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Funeral Services were held June 3 at Hunn, Black and Merritt Funeral Home.

STIDHAM – Paul “Pod” Jones, 91, passed away May 28, 2025, at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Muskogee. Funeral services were held June 2 at Hunn, Black and Merritt Funeral Home.

EUFAULA – Paul Charles Srebala, III, 78, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home in Checotah.

EUFAULA – Mary Pearl (Carey) Jordan, 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025.

A private family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.

EUFAULA – Bruce Edward vonBehrens, 74, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025. A Family Conducted Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Lake Eufaula Christian Church.

CHECOTAH – Faye Dell (Broyles) McGee, 101, passed away June 1, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital, Muskogee. Graveside services will be held at 11a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Greenlawn Cemetery.
