DEATH NOTICES

EUFAULA – Mary Pearl (Carey) Jordan, 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30. A private family conducted service will be held at a later date.

EUFAULA – Paul Charles Srebala III, 78, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025. A memorial service was held June 5 at Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home.

CHECOTAH – Susan Deidre Davis, 68, passed away Sunday June 1, 2025, at her home in Checotah, OK. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 10 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.

EUFAULA – Janet Marie McDonald, 81, passed from this life on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at her home in Eufaula, OK.

EUFAULA – Bruce Edward vonBehrens, 74, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025. A Family Conducted Memorial Service was held June 20 at Lake Eufaula Christian Church.

CHECOTAH – Faye McGee, 101, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee on June1, 2025. A Graveside Service was held Thursday, June 5 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah.

EUFAULA – Billy (Bill) Earl Chaffin, Sr., 89, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at his home in Eufaula, OK. A memorial service will be held from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Lake Eufaula Christian Church on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

EUFAULA – Georgia Kay Mitchell, 76, peacefully passed away on June 5, 2025, in Tulsa.

EUFAULA – Pamela Gail Jackson, 58, passed away on June 8, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK. A memorial service was held June 21 at Lighthouse Christian Center.

CHECOTAH – Dolores “PeeWee” Townsend, 71, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services were held at Trinity Baptist Church in Oktaha, Oklahoma, on Saturday, June 14.

RENTIESVILLE – Selby Sue Minner, 75, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at her home in Rentiesville, OK. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, at the Checotah Public Schools Performing Arts Center.

STIGLER – Beatrice Kay Northcott, 64, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2025, at her home in Stigler, OK.

CHECOTAH – Family and friends are mourning the loss of Vestil Wayne Stiles, 82, who entered his heavenly home on June 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

TULSA- Dr. Clinton Beeson, 55, a devoted husband, father and respected medical professional, passed away on June 15, 2025 at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. at Nickell Memorial Chapel in Hazel Valley, Arkansas on June 28.

EUFAULA – Terry Lynn Dillon, 55, peacefully departed from this life at his home in Eufaula, OK and was received by his father in heaven on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, at Kelley Memorial Chapel.

EUFAULA – Beulah Signora Williams, 100, passed from this life on Friday, June 20, 2025, surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church on Friday, June 27.
