Death Notices

MUSKOGEE – Robert Randal Lee Hall Sr., 70, passed from this world on May 20, 2025, at his home. A Celebration of Robert’s life was held May 27, 2025 at Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Checotah.

EUFAULA – Stephen “Steve” Joe Southwell, 73, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025. No services have been scheduled at this time.

CHECOTAH – Billy Dale Visor, 85, passed away May 24, 2025. A graveside memorial was held June 2, 2025 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah.

MAUD – Billy Ray Gamblin, 63, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 9, 2025. Graveside services were held June 12, 2025, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah.

EUFAULA – Cheryl Lynn (Lauderdale) Gebbie, 87, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025. A family conducted Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

CHECOTAH – Colter Alexander (Mahli Chito Ittibbi) Redfearn, infant son of Joshua McKeeby Redfearn and Chaylee Michelene “Redfearn” Page passed from this life on June 11, 2025 in Tulsa. Services for Colter were private.

CHECOTAH – Mildred Louise (Smallwood) Alley, 90, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025. Graveside services were held June 20 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, OK.

EUFAULA – Terry Lynn Dillon, 55, peacefully departed from this life and was received by his father in heaven on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Kelley Memorial Chapel.

CHECOTAH – Devada Louise (Morris) Roe, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life for Devada will be held at a later date.

EUFAULA – Joy Ann Rogers, 57, passed from this life on Friday, June 27, 2025 in Eufaula. Services were held Thursday, July 3 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula, OK.

EUFAULA – Gary “Slick” Art Phillips, 73, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 28, 2025, at home in Eufaula, OK, with his family by his side. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home in Checotah.

MUSKOGEE – Karen Ann Fisher, 72, passed away on June 28, 2025. A funeral service was held on July 2, 2025 at the Kelley Memorial Chapel.

CHECOTAH – Caspal Lawrence “C. L. “ Guinn, 77, peacefully departed this life on June 30, 2025, at his home. No services planned at this time.

EUFAULA – Wanda June Marshall, 84, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. Services were held Monday, July 7 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.

CHECOTAH – James Lee Cellars, 42, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2025, at his residence in Checotah, OK. No services have been scheduled at this time.

CHECOTAH -Teresa Elaine (Brinlee) Jones, 64, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee. The family will conduct a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
