Last week I had one of my regulars drop by to get our weekly newspaper. As he glanced at the headlines, he commented on the “Man injured diving into shallow water.” He stated that the young man was a relative and that he has had several surgeries but may never walk again. I offered my condolences and commented on how many people are struggling today from crazy accidents to tragic deaths. To which he replied, “Life happens everywhere.” Sadly I had to agree.
