EOSC names Kellye Semeski Dean of Business Division

WILBURTON – Eastern Oklahoma State College has announced the appointment of Kellye Semeski as the new Dean of the Division of Business.

An Eastern alumna, Semeski earned her associate degree from Eastern in 1997, followed by a bachelor’s degree in Business and Office Technology from East Central University in 2002 and a master’s degree in Educational Technology in 2010.

Semeski has been a dedicated member of the Eastern faculty since 2005, beginning as an adjunct instructor before joining full-time in 2013 as a Computer Science instructor. She earned tenure in 2019 and was recognized by her peers with the 2022 President’s Excellence in Teaching Award at the Sapphire Ball.

In addition to her new role as dean, Semeski serves as Eastern’s Director of Distance Learning and CACE Coordinator, overseeing the college’s course-sharing partnership with Connors State College and Carl Albert State College.

She is deeply committed to student engagement, having sponsored Phi Theta Kappa and supported students in international experiences, including the Denmark Study Abroad program. Semeski also represents Eastern statewide through her service on the Online Consortium of Oklahoma and the Council of Online Learning Excellence, committees of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

“I am honored to serve as Dean of the Business Division at the college where my journey in higher education began,” Semeski said. “I look forward to supporting our students, faculty, and staff as we continue preparing future leaders and providing opportunities that help our students succeed.”

In her new role, Semeski will oversee curriculum development, faculty support, and student success initiatives within the Business Division, ensuring that Eastern continues to offer high-quality programs that meet the needs of students and the community.

“Kellye’s dedication to our students and her leadership in both instruction and online learning make her an excellent choice to lead the Business Division,” said Dr. Randy Harp, president of Eastern. “Her experience and commitment reflect our mission to cultivate growth, create futures, and change lives.”
