WILBURTON – Eastern Oklahoma State College announced updates to its concurrent enrollment program as part of its continuing commitment to make higher education more accessible and affordable for high school students.

Beginning with the Spring 2026 semester, Eastern will waive mandatory fees and select academic service fees for concurrent students.

This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on families by significantly reducing the overall cost of college courses, allowing students to focus on their academic success. The fee waivers will be directly linked to the students’ tuition waiver, with juniors qualifying for fee waivers at 9 credit hours and seniors at 18 credit hours per academic year. By waiving these fees, Eastern continues to support students’ educational journeys and reinforce its commitment to affordable, quality education.

“Concurrent enrollment provides high school students with a valuable head start on their college education,” said Dr. Randy Harp, Eastern’s president. “By removing these fees, we are ensuring that cost is not a barrier for students who want to challenge themselves and get ahead.”
