McIntosh County GOP
By LYNELLE MEDLEY CHAIRMAN

Our 2025 Patriot Retreat was a smashing success — we had nearly 50 people there from all areas of the state. Beaver’s Bend State Park was gorgeous and our keynote speaker, The Honorable Jake Merrick, was on point as usual. If you haven’t ever visited the park, you should, it’s absolutely stunning. If you look on our FB page, we have tons of pics from the retreat — we hope to see you next year.

Our Welcome Wagon is in full swing, so be watching for our teams to drop by for a visit with a swag bag of goodies for you. We are a bit behind and working hard to get caught up, but if you are expecting us but haven’t seen us yet, please email us at McintoshGOP@gmail.com or text us at 918.617.6124.

It is almost time for our November meeting, which has been moved up by a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday — we will be meeting on Nov 20 at 6:30 PM at the Eufaula VFW. We will have a wonderful speaker from Logan County, named Bob Donahoo and he will be speaking on the topic of the Convention of the States or an Article V Convention. If you have ever wondered whether that might be a good alternative to right some of the wrongs which are occurring these days, please come hear what Mr. Donahoo has to say. There are many arguments for and against the Convention of the States as well as arguments touting Article VI over Article V. Come see what all the buzz is about and decide for yourself! Light refreshments will be served and kids are welcome as well, please come say hello!

We are almost to the end of our application period for our Charlie Kirk Memorial Scholarship — but there is still time to file an application for the internship opportunity. If you are interested, please text us at 918.617.6124 and we will be happy to send you the link to fill out. Hope to see you soon!
