DEATH NOTICES

EUFAULA – William Fredrick, 81, passed from this life on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. Graveside Services were held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Bower Cemetery.

CHECOTAH – Bervle Charles “Charlie” Dause, 81, entered his eternal home on Thursday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Services celebrating the life of Charlie were held Tuesday, November 18 in the Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home in Checotah.

TAHLEQUAH – Larry Jay Kennedy, 77, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025. Services were held Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Checotah First Baptist Church.

CHECOTAH – Joan Louise (Cunningham) Sharp, 80, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Checotah. The family requests all who attend wear blue as it was Joan’s favorite color.

EUFAULA – Patty Lee Fairchild, 72, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday Morning, November 11, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. No service at this time.

CHECOTAH – Lonnie Ray Robison, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the age of 87. Services were held Friday, November 14, 2025 at Checotah Assembly of God Church.

EUFAULA – Doris Marie Pollard, 86, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. A Funeral Service was held at Lake Eufaula Christian Church on Friday, November 14, 2025.

EUFAULA – Brenda Sharon Jones, 85, formerly of Hugo, Oklahoma,

passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025. No service at this time.

EUFAULA – Mary Elizabeth Hoskins, 49, passed away on November 8, 2025, of natural causes. Services pending.

EUFAULA – Kevin Joe Watkins, 51, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025. A family conducted memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Deeres Chapel Full Gospel Church.

CHECOTAH – Carolyn Sue Hoggatt, 93, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her home. A Funeral Service was held Friday, November 14, 2025 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula.

EUFAULA – Phyllis Louise (Brown) Richards, 91, peacefully passed away on November 8, 2025, at Eufaula Nursing and Rehabilitation. No services.

EUFAULA – Gregory “Greg” Scott Newman, 52, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Services were Nov. 9 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.

ROLAND – Robbie Allen Cochran, 63, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, in Fort Smith, AR. A memorial service was held Wednesday, November 12, at Checotah Church of Christ.

CHECOTAH – Bart Dee Sexton, 67, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 2, 2025. A Serenity Chapel Service for Bart was held Saturday, November 8, at Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home.

CLAREMORE – Pamela Gale Campbell, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from cardiac failure, with her beloved husband by her side. A Celebration of Life at Kelley Memorial Chapel was held Monday, November 10, 2025.
