FCCLA students recently came back with some serious bragging rights as they competed in the NE4 District STAR event.
Their teacher and FCCLA advisor April Sinor stated, “I am truly blessed to spend my days with them and watch them grow, learn and chase big goals. Watching them take this old armoire and refurbish it into this magnificent piece still amazes me. I am proud of each students and I celebrate their growing accomplishment.
The following students placed as follows:
- Izabella Parr – 1st Place, Level II Career Investigation
- Kyrin Bedonie – 3rd Place, Level III Career Investigation
- Shylo Lopez & Breahana Bentley – 1st Place, Level III Repurpose & Redesign
“The hard work these students have put in over the last two months has been incredible to witness. From early mornings to late nights, they have shown dedication, creativity, and have so much heart and it all showed and paid off at this competition.”
The FCCLA students plan on keeping this piece in their FCCLA classroom.
