The Lake Eufaula Association (LEA) celebrated a successful launch of its first-ever Christmas Home Tour on Thursday, Dec. 11, drawing close to a reported 100 participants for a festive afternoon exploring decorated homes and local businesses throughout Eufaula.
In total, eight stops were featured on the tour, giving visitors a chance to enjoy a mix of holiday décor, community history and smalltown charm. Guests began at the LEA office, where they picked up their wristbands and maps before setting out at their own pace to visit each location in any order they wished.
The 2025 stops included: • LEA office 851 N. Main St.
• Wild Rose Winery – 207 ½ N. Main St.
• Bobbie Lou’s Home Decor & Gifts 104 Selmon Rd.
• Artesian Realty – 106 Selmon Rd.
• Laura Laney’s Home – 115 E. Elm
• Bill & Nancy Taylor’s Home – 108 E. Elm
• Evelyn Gulley’s Home – 304 N. E St.
• Dustin & Kelly Blurton’s Home – 102 Janeway Dr.
Each location offered its own take on holiday spirit, from traditional Christmas décor to creative displays and warm seasonal touches. Several homes featured festive music, and many visitors lingered to visit with homeowners and shop owners, making the tour feel more like a family gathering.
LEA Executive Director Rhonda Adams said she was very pleased with both attendance and enthusiasm, noting that the turnout exceeded expectations for a first-year event. Many participants expressed excitement about seeing inside some of Eufaula’s historic homes, while others enjoyed supporting local businesses included on the route.
With strong community support behind the debut, the LEA is already discussing plans for expanding the tour next year and building the event into a seasonal tradition for residents and holiday visitors.
