The Eufaula Ironheads (1513) fell hard in a close game against the Rattan Rams 3-1 on Saturday at the Ball Park in Eufaula. It was a battle of the pitchers as the Rams struck out 10, while the Ironheads set down seven. The Rams got on the scoreboard first with a run scored in the second inning. Eufaula tied the game up in the fourth with a run when Luke Adcock doubled on a 1-2 count. Lance Smith of Rattan was the winning pitcher after holding the Ironheads to zero runs scored after the fourth inning. The Rams sealed the win in the sixth inning with a pair of runs to win 3-1.

Draven Gragg took the loss for Eufaula from the pitcher’s mound as he surrendered three runs on six hits over six innings, striking out seven Rams. Brett Pippenger led Eufaula from the plate going 2-for-3 and Adcock went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

On Friday Eufaula shutout Antlers 4-0. Luke Adcock got the win for the Ironheads. He went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out six with zero walks. Hayden Robinson threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. The Ironheads did not commit one error with Taber Grider making 10 plays from the field. Kaden Bumgarner led Eufaula from the plate going 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs, Draven Gragg was 2-for-4 with an RBI, JP Hicks was 2-for-2 with an RBI.

Eufaula lost to Poteau 8-0 on Thursday and won on Tuesday when they topped Roland 14- 0.
