Checotah athletes heading to State Track meet

The Checotah 4×800 relay team, Class 4A, qualified to the state track and field meet in Ardmore after placing third. The team consists of Izayah Tayde, Cooper Cutbirth, Hudson Pollard and Tyler Orman.

Also qualifying is sophomore Elijah Thomas. Thomas placed first in the 100-meter dash and third place in the long jump.
