DEATH NOTICES

CHECOTAH – Sherrie May Doss, 62, passed away Tuesday, April4, 2023, at ST. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK, surrounded by loved ones and friends. A memorial service was held Saturday, April 29 at Checotah First Assembly of God.

CHECOTAH – Marilyn Leilani Kimbrough (Palomares), 61, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, April 9, 2023 after a battle with terminal brain cancer. A Celebration of Life Memorial was held Saturday, April 29 at First Free Will Baptist Church.

WAINWRIGHT – Lillie Mae Boen, 88, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 with her family at her side. Funeral services were held April 19 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel.

MUSKOGEE – Danielle A. Graves, 48, slipped into the Lord’s embrace on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from Eastgate Village Retirement Center, Muskogee, OK. A memorial service was held April 29 at Faith Church, Checotah.

EUFAULA – Patricia “Patti” June (Garrett) Pipkins, 94, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, surrounded by her family. Friends and Family Gathering will be Saturday, May 6 from 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Patti’s home, 504 Woodland Ave., Eufaula, OK.

VAN BUREN, AR – Kristin N. Baldwin Powell, 39, formerly of Warner, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023. A memorial service was held May 2 at Shipman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Warner Memorial Cemetery, Warner.

CANADIAN – Denise Lynn Sinclair, 60, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Hillcrest Hospital of Tulsa. A memorial service was held Friday, April 28 at Canadian First Baptist Church.

PORUM – Ivaline Wiggins (Satterfield), 87, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her home. A memorial service was held Friday, April 28 at Heavenly Hope Church in Porum.

OKTAHA – Dustin Gene Hopkins, 43, passed from this life to his forever home on April 23, 2023, in his home in Oktaha, surrounded by family.

EUFAULA – Angela Anne Evans, 54, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2023 after battling several significant health issues. A memorial service was held Saturday, April 29 at Tulsa Technology Center Broken Arrow Campus, OK.

EUFAULA – Dolores Ann Chaffin, 92, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, in Wagoner, OK. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at Lake Eufaula Christian Church, 415897 West State HWY 9, Eufaula.

CHECOTAH – Shirley Dail Fincham, 76, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. No services scheduled at this time.

BINGHAMTON, NY – Joshua “J.R.” Kaczmarczyk, 37, formerly of Okmulgee, passed from this life April 26, 2023 in Binghamton New York, where he was employed at Lourdes Hospital in Labor and Delivery.

HANNA – Glenda Lea (Horne) Cox, 60, a loving and spirited woman known for her humor and dedication to her family, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her home in Hanna, Oklahoma. Graveside services were held Monday, May 1 at Carson Cemetery.

EUFAULA – Christopher Wayne Murrill, 29, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. A private family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.

CHECOTAH – John Arthur Spaulding, 81, of Checotah, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 11 at 1 p.m. at Evangel Outreach Ministries on Texanna Road in Eufaula, OK.

MCALESTER – Carol Lynne Woods, 78, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023. Services are private.
