DEATH NOTICES

ENTERPRISE – Gary W. Edwards, 75, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 in McAlester Regional Hospital. Memorial service was held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Enterprise Baptist Church.

CHECOTAH – Nancy Ann (Kassel) Widdifield, 86, first female jet engine mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. Services will be held at a later date.

MUSKOGEE – Marc Philo Harris, 72, entered his eternal Heavenly home on Friday, May 5, 2023. Marc’s life was celebrated Wednesday, May 10 at Keefeton Free Will Baptist Church.

OKTAHA – Daniel Lee Walker, 54, took flight to his Heavenly home on Friday, May 5, 2023, in Oktaha, OK. Funeral services were held Friday May 12 at Trinity Baptist Church in Oktaha.

MUSKOGEE – Sharon Rebecca Ayers Willis, 73, departed her earthly life for Heaven on May 5, 2023. Sharon’s life was remembered Tuesday, May 9 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee, OK.

MUSKOGEE – Mary Catherine “Kae” Jefferson, 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, May 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

CHECOTAH– Gladys Grace Woodhall, 96, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023.

WEBBERS FALLS – Jack Wade Chambers, 61, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 13 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

CHECOTAH – Nerva June Lane, 86, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023. A memorial

service was held Tuesday, May 16 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa, OK.

CHECOTAH – Howard Glen “Jockey” Fairchild, 86, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Checotah, OK. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18 at the Hunn Funeral Home Chapel in Checotah.

OKEMAH – Joyce Carolyn Buie, 80, formerly of Checotah, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, in Shawnee, OK. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula.

EUFAULA – Jerry George Pellar, 76, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his home in Eufaula, Oklahoma. A family gathering will take place Thursday, May 18 from 3PM – 5PM at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula.
