No services are scheduled at this time. CHECOTAH – Patricia Sue (Marchant) Cindle, 73, passed away on May 21, 2023. Funeral services were held May 25 at the First Baptist Church in Dewar, OK. CHECOTAH -Rockney Lee Longcrier, 63, made his final lap here on earth and cruised through Heaven’s gates on Monday, May 22, 2023. A memorial service celebrating the life of Rocky will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, June 10, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Checotah, OK.

STIGLER – Melinda Doylene (Needham) Hawk, 51, persevered through many health obstacles for the last five years before falling asleep on May 23, 2023, surrounded by her family and awaking in the arms of Jesus. Memorial services were held Friday, May 26, at Kelley Memorial Chapel, Eufaula, OK. TULSA – Emmett Scott, 55, formerly of Checotah, slipped the bonds of this earthly realm onto eternity on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK with family at his side. Funeral Service were conducted on Wednesday, May 31at the Mt. Olive Star Baptist Church, Checotah, OK. STIGLER – Marjorie Lee House, 100, passed from this life on May 26, 2023 in Stigler, OK. Graveside service was held Tuesday, May 30 at Stigler Cemetery.
