DEATH NOTICES

WARNER – Della Lee Miner, 89, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at her home. Services were held June 15 at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel.

CHECOTAH – Dennis Edward Meeker, 75, passed away from this life peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at his home in Checotah,OK. A memorial service was held Monday, June 26 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.

EUFAULA – Andrew “Andy” Richard O’Haver, 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. Services will be set for a future date to be determined.

WEBBERS FALLS – Marcinda Ruth Owens (Sutterfield), 64, formerly of Checotah, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

EUFAULA – Ramonia Sue “Susie” Moores, 81, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023. A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 27 at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula, OK.

EUFAULA – Cheyenne Thomas McNeely, 41, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at 4:30 p.m. on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18, 2023, while doing what he loved most – noodling. A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 27 at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula, OK.

CHECOTAH – Ja Lecia Johnson, 1, left this world on Saturday, June 18, 2023. CANADIAN – Lucille Smith, 66, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 in her home in Canadian, OK.

DEWAR – Estella Mae Francis,74, formerly from Pierce, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 in Dewar, OK. Services were held Friday, June 23 at Integrity Funeral Home with interment at Silver Springs Cemetery on Tiger Mountain.

DEWAR – Edna Mae Brownfield, 76, passed away on June 19, 2023 in Tulsa, OK. Services were held June 26 at Dewar First Baptist Church.

EUFAULA – Jean Jacqueth Lappen, 78, entered her Heavenly Home, on Monday morning, June 19, 2023 at 4:22 a.m. Services are pending.

MUSKOGEE – Doris Jean (Call) Phillips, 96, passed away from this life on Monday, June 19, 2023. A memorial service was held June 26 at Jubilee Christian Center in Muskogee, OK.

EUFAULA – Mary Ann Smith, 70, a loving, friendly and kind woman, passed away on June 19, 2023 in Jenks, OK. Funeral services were held June 28 at the Native Stone Church in Sapulpa with interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
