DEATH NOTICES

MORRIS – Doris A. Boatright, 69, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 21 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

INDIANOLA – Charles “Chuck” Leo Ralston, 63,passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma. A memorial servie was held Monday, June 26 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula, OK.

MUSKOGEE – Jason Michael Reece, 52, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 27 at Hunn Funeral Home Chapel in Checotah.

EUFAULA – Roberta Lee Tabor, 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at her home. Services will be set for a future date to be determined.

MCKINNEY,TX – Mac Duane Whitson, 82, Muscogee Creek Indian formerly of Stidham, passed away June 21, 2023, in McKinney, Texas. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Big Arbor Baptist Church,112985 S. 4135 Rd. in Eufaula, OK.

CHECOTAH – Raydene Elaine Henson, 90, passed away on June 22, 2023 in Tulsa, OK. Services celebrating the life of Raydene were held on Friday, June 30 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK.

CHECOTAH – Marilyn Mathews, 82, passed away on Friday June 23, 2023. No services are planned at this time.

CHECOTAH – Brett Johnson, 43, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. No services planned.
