Death Notices

CHECOTAH – Marlie Rhys Green, “Our Baby”, beloved infant daughter of Tashina and Russell Green passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, in her parents loving arms. A memorial service was held on July 21, 2023 at Greenlawn Cemetery.

OKMULGEE – Reverend Raymond F. Doke, 67, passed away on Monday morning, July 10, 2023, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 14 at the First Assembly of God Church in Okmulgee.

MUSKOGEE – Robert (Rob) Charles Neumeyer, II, 38, entered eternal rest in the arms and grace of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 11, 2023.

RYAL – Marian Lewis Haynes, 91, formerly of Eufaula, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A funeral service was held Friday, July 14 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel.

PORUM – Judy C. Pevehouse, 74, passed away on July 13, 2023. A familyconducted memorial service was held Monday, July 17 at Porum Assembly of God Church.

MUSKOGEE – Vernal June (Baker) Smith, 93, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Funeral service will be on July 27, 2023 at 9 a.m., at Westside Church of Christ, 2434 W. Okmulgee Avenue, Muskogee, OK.

MUSKOGEE – Tommy Leroy Hughes, 77, retired Muskogee police officer, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023. Graveside services were held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

HENRYETTA – Willie Mae Britt, 83, passed away peacefully in Henryetta, Oklahoma on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 19 at Integrity Chapel.

BROOKEN – Donald Wayne Cox, 56, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, in Brooken, OK. A graveside service was held Friday, July 21 at Dale Cemetery.

QUINTON – Junieta June Privette, 77, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, in her home. A memorial service was held Friday, July 21 at Palestine Church in Quinton, OK.

OKMULGEE – Kenneth Milton Mann, 89, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. A funeral service was held Saturday, July 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Okmulgee, OK.

SEMINOLE – Allen Ray Williams Jr., 37, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Texanna, Oklahoma. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on August 12, 2023 at Hitchita-Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, OK in Mc-Intosh County.

PIERCE – Rayfield Robertson, 95, a former resident of Pierce, OK, transitioned in his son’s home in Newalla, OK on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

CHECOTAH – Barbara J Wayt, 81, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK. A memorial service was held Monday, July 17 at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula, OK.

HITCHITA – Gabrielle “Gabby” Marie Silvey, 56, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 .Her wish was to be cremated and a private service to be held at a later date.
