Wildcats Homecoming Week makes memories

Homecoming Week was full of Wildcat pride from the beginning to the end. From the excitement of the Homecoming Parade on Thursday night with class floats, team spirit, and beautiful Band and Homecoming Royalty to the anticipation of Friday night’s coronation with the crowning of the 2023 Homecoming King Lane Elliott and Homecoming Queen Regan Westbrook and another win for the Wildcats. It was a whole week where Wildcats made a multitude of memories that will last a l The 2023 Wildcat Football Homecoming King and Queen and their court consisted of the following: The freshman attendant was Michelle Talbott, daughter of Michael and Pinky Talbott, her activities include softball, art, exploring nature and reading books. After graduation Michelle plans to become an astronomer.

Michelle’s first escort was Nathan Gray. He is the son of Johnye Rose Jacobs. His activities include football, weights, and hanging out with his friends. After graduation Nathan plans to be a HVAC specialist.

Michelle’s second escort was Hayden Reynolds. He is the son of Mike and Kristy Reynolds. His activities include football, kayaking and swimming. After graduation Hayden plans to finish ICTC and find a good job.

The sophomore attendant was Madilyn McCutchen. She is the daughter of Kristen and Rodney Campbell. Her activities include dancing at Broken Arrow Dance Academy, Foot Trainer, Vice President of Student Council and being with friends. After graduation Maddy plans to attend the University of Arkansas and continue dancing.

Madilyn’s first escort was Jaxton Frayne Jones. Jaxton is the son of Isaiah Jones and Tamara Frayne. His activities include song writing, going to church, playing soccer, playing hard in football and spending time with friends and family. After graduation Jaxton plans to attend college and pursue a career in music and see where life takes him.

Madilyn’s second escort was Keith McGuire. He is the son of Earl Mc-Guire and Glenna Botello. His activities include football, wrestling, and hanging out with family and friends. After graduation Keith plans to attend college, get a business degree and start his own landscaping company.

The junior attendant was Jazlyn Atkins. Jazlyn is the daughter of Kimberly and Robert Adkins. Her activities include basketball, cheerleading, cross country and spending time with family and friends. After graduation Jazlyn plans to attend Oklahoma State University and become a dermatologist.

Jazlyn’s first escort was Jonah Marshall. Jonah is the son of Kerry Herron and Guymon Marshall. His activities include football, wrestling, baseball, and spending time with friends and family. After graduation Jonah plans to attend OSUIT and become an electrical lineman.

Jazlyn’s second escort was Kamden Miller. Kamden is the son of Jacob Prather and Destiny Miller. His activities include football, baseball and hanging out with friends. After graduation Kamden plans to get a degree in sports management and become a football coach.

The flower girl was Lillie Ann Marie Chronister. She is the daughter of Alicia and Cody Chronister. Lillie enjoys bowling and playing with her stuffed animals. When Lillie grows up she wants to become a veterinarian.

The crown bearer was Deacon Rainbolt. Deacon is the son of Carmen and Laura Rainbolt. Deacon loves geography, studying maps, going to the lake with his family, playing baseball and building Legos. When Deacon grows up, he wants to join the Army and serve his country.

The first senior attendant was Baileigh Brassfield. Baileigh is the daughter of Nikki and Kently McCullar and Dusty Brassfield. Her activities include cheerleading, and being with family and friends. After graduation Baileigh plans to attend college, get into a nursing program and become a pediatric nurse.

Baileigh’s escort was Jaydin Bray. He is the son of Tiffany Bray and Trey Pouncil. His activities include football, and being with family and friends. After graduation Jaydin plans to play college football.

The next senior attendant was Maci Britt. Maci Britt, Maci is the daughter of Ashley Stewart and Devin Britt. Her activities include captain of the Checotah High School cheerleaders, All American Cheerleading Squad, softball, golf, listening to Taylor Swift and spending time with friends and family. After graduation Maci plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in multidisciplinary studies.

Maci’s first escort was Lane Elliott. Lane is the son of Jimmy Elliott and Adrienne Elliott. His activities include football, baseball, fishing with Grandpa James and hanging out with friends and family. After graduation Lane plans to join the military in the Air Force branch.

Maci’s second escort was Jacob Jones. He is the son of Boyd and Heather Jones. His activities include football, baseball, watching football, fishing and running. After graduation Jacob plans to attend college, play football, earn his degree and eventually become an entrepreneur.

The next senior attendant was Misty Wells. She is the daughter of Dustin and Samantha Wells. Her activities include band, choir, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends. After graduation Misty plans to attend college and get a degree in Psychology and travel.

Misty’s escort was Jimmie Smith. He is the son of Larry Patterson and Keisha Patterson. His activities include football, weights, swimming, and spending time with family. After graduation Jimmie plans to attend college and become an Architect.

The last senior attendant was Regan Westbrook. She is the daughter of Ryan and Desiree Westbrook. Her activities include football trainer, working at June’s Restaurant, traveling and experiencing new places and being around her family and friends. After graduation Regan plans to attend the University of Oklahoma majoring in Psychology and then become a Psychiatrist in Dallas, Texas.

Regan’s escort was Alexander Moffitt. He is the son of Richard Moffitt and grandson of Vivian Moffitt. His activities include football, working out, making money, and Alexander has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout his high school career. After graduation Alexander plans to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field.

After all the festivities, a Homecoming Dance was well attended on Saturday.
