Vic’s Mobile Detail had their 1st Christmas visit to the Checotah Nursing and Rehab Center earlier this month. Usually Vic’s staff is working hard to detail customer’s cars but staff took a break to spread some Christmas cheer to the staff and residents at the local nursing facility.

“Our hearts were overjoyed to share with our seniors in the spirit of Christmas,” Vicky David said. “This was our first time to share here in Checotah but we have also done this in Houston, TX, with our church. We wanted to bless them with a few things and let them know that Jesus loves them as do we.”

Lots of bags with stuffed animals and treats were passed out to every resident and then several residents were serenaded with Christmas carols in their rooms.

“The staff was so welcoming and all the residents were wonderful to meet. This was strictly funded by staff at Vic’s because we love people and want to serve and give back whenever we can. We love being a part of Checotah’s local community team and look forward to doing more in the community.”

Vicky David stated she is also available for booking events to sing as a soloist for Christmas, weddings, community or school events as well.
