Warner to name Cade Shearwood head football coach

Former Stigler star football player and head coach Cade Shearwood is expected to be named the new head football coach of the Warner Eagles pending school board approval. Shearwood took over for Chris Risenhoover in 2021. Risenhoover left Stigler to be the new offensive coordinator at Muskogee where he won a state title this past fall. Shearwood played for Risenhoover and was a very successful football player. If hired, Shearwood would be the third head football coach in four years at Warner.
