Rodney Eugene Ramsey

Rodney Eugene Ramsey, 69, of Checotah, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 15, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born to Eldon and Ruth (Barber) Ramsey in Woodland, California on Tuesday, January 18, 1955.

Rodney overcame many handicap obstacles as a child and lived life to its fullest with his great family support. He remained at home with his wonderful parents, up to the last few years of his life. The three of them traveled extensively and enjoyed camping with their travel trailer. Rodney most loved traveling back and forth to California. His memory and ability to recall many life events and people was astonishing. He accepted salvation, knew right from wrong and lived a Christian life. Rodney was well cared for the last three years at Checotah Nursing Center and the family
